Have you seen what Janet Street Porter wrote about him in the Independent today? Honestly, Janet - 'play the ball, not the man', as her games masters must have shouted now and then at some point in her admittedly long-ago youth. Meanwhile, I am delighted to have found this blog - definitely one to bookmark.
